I found Debbi and Erin Stocco's Modern Book Design services an excellent way to get my self published book into Amazon Kindle and Nook format. My work involved 312 pages of 8.5 x 11 material. "More Than 80 Security Officer Secrets". As president (2009-2010) of a division of the American Psychological Association, I had the good fortune to be able to design and implement several projects that I believed were important to the field. My most ambitious project was a book, published in August 2012, titled "Retiring But Not Shy: Feminist Psychologists create their Post-Careers". Debbi Stocco brought the book to life. The material was good to begin with (in my opinion, of course), but Debbi is so skilled at design that what was solid became lovely. The cover, the layout, the order, the look and feel, and even copy-editing—she did it all. I can't say enough about her flexibility, her skills, her great eye for detail and beauty, her timeliness... I hope I have the chance to work with her again.
